Hi May! Hey, I LOVE to play chess. I used to play all the time withmy Daddy, and being 30 (give or take a few) years older than me, he beat me every time. It made me think I wasn't all that good. Butevery time I play someone younger, my same age, or ever older than me, I beat them! I even beat a 20 year old, and I almost beat my teacher. She said I was very good. But I'm just bragging now. Maybe we could play sometime. It is a brilliant game rich with history.
Love to you both,Shea
Rose, thank-you for your compliment, but I am sure I can speak foreveryone when I say YOU brighten OUR lives!
Jessie, I know how you feel! Christmas just crept up on me thisyear! But still lets be joyful even if it is masking stress ;-).
Dayton, Thank-you for stopping by on the blog! I must say I don'tbelieve I will be on until maybe January. You see, with Christmas andthen going back to school, I will have my hands full. But I might tryto squeeze a visit in maybe some time this week. I'm usually on theCubby den.
And to Christie, Cathy, Emily, and my other blog "pen pals" I hopeyou are all enjoying your weekend!
Have a great day everyone. Much love to you all!SheaP.S. I almost forgot, What are we all reading? I am reading aChristmas Carol. But lately I'm in the fancy of reading one of myfavorite authors, John Ronald Reuel (J.R.R.) Tolkien's the Hobbit. Ifound out I have immense pleasure in reading aloud. So I read theHobbit aloud to my Daddy every night and I just love changing my voicefor the characters, and trying to grasp the way I think Tolkien mightspeak to the readers! Also, I must finish my Ranger's Apprentice book.Did you all know the author and I are still very good friends? Wewrite each other almost every day! I am so blessed! Take care all!!!!Shea
Love,Shea
